What Our Experts Say

If you are looking for hope to bring "Mental Health as a concept in mainstream awareness, MHF is the place which has provided opportunity and tools to young psychologists to achieve it. Those who aspire to nourish this aspect in society must contribute with their fullest potential. I did and I am satisfied.
Abhinav Singh
Recognizing what's visible to our eyes comes naturally, but often, the decline in mental health isn't visible. This invisibility can lead to less acceptance, yet it resides within us. Acknowledging mental health as vital is the first step towards progress. MHFI offers a platform for acknowledgment, acceptance, and healing, fostering a journey of growth.

Geetanjali Arora
Being a mental health advocate, I have found MHFI a safe space for learning and re-learning about myself. I believe in healthy minds for healthy nations ,so let's take a pledge to become gatekeepers and join hands. Let's fulfill this mission of spreading awareness about mental health from door to door.
Kanika Khandelwal
When we think about mental health, we focus too much on the biological, psychological, or social factors related to it. At MHFI, we are not focused on one particular domain, rather we work with a bio-psycho-social model of mental health that allows us to focus on the individualized treatment and wellbeing of our beneficiaries. Our integrated approach to well-being allows us to enhance the efficiency of our work, reduce relapse rates, and promote healing among people with mental health issues. If you are looking for an organization that works on both mental health awareness and patient care and is doing wonderful work, you can trust MHFI.

What Our Clients Say

Testimonials

Shivani Bajaj

I have volunteered with MHFI for four years. First, as an intern and then as an organizing team member. As a young woman with both, the love for innovation and curiosity to learn further I found here, a space that nurtured me. I was provided with the freedom to bring in ideas to discuss and build upon, and the guidance towards informed mental health advocacy.

Pranesh Krishna

During my time with MHF(I), I was able to understand the mental health concerns of the people right at the grass-root level while being taught by the brightest and the most experienced professionals in the field. This internship curriculum was dynamic in essence that it changed with the need of every incoming batch which I really valued as an intern. I was given the opportunity to coordinate their community project which allowed me to hone my skills and gave me an edge in my professional career.

Kanika Khandelwal

Being a student of psychology often means lack of exposure to the practical applications of what we are studying. In that sense, interning with MHFI was really productive for me in being able to work on-field and gain first-hand experience. All the practical skills and the soft skills I gained in the internship are actually benefiting me a lot as a therapist, now that I am pursuing my M.Phil. I would definitely recommend more and more students to get involved!
